Phase 1 of this capitol project included new construction and renovation components to accommodate the growing demand for passenger service. A 30,000 sf terminal expansion with new ticketing counters, a new gate, and a jet bridge for passenger loading.
Phase II included an interior renovation to upgrade existing passenger terminal to increase security checkpoints and gate holding area. Site work, site utilities, partial demolition of existing structure, interior build-out of dedicated arrival and departure spaces, a spacious TSA screening area, addition of spacious modern bathrooms to the lobby area, and upgrades to the mechanical systems.
